Sized from the bill, not a guess
Your utility bill shows the peak demand in kW. Add a quarter on top and that is the generator. Send a copy of the bill and the service size (amps and voltage) from the main panel.
Three-phase, the right voltage
Commercial buildings run on 208 V or 480 V three-phase. Rental units switch between them; the electrician sets it to match your service and checks rotation before switching over.
A standby while yours is repaired
If your building's own generator failed, a rental can stand in on a manual transfer until the repair is done, so the building is never without backup.

How soon can a unit be on site?
For planned work, book a week ahead. For a failure, most metros are next day, and sometimes same day.
Do you handle the connection?
The yard delivers and places the unit; your electrical contractor connects it. If you need one, we arrange a licensed electrician with the rental.
Can it run unattended for days?
Yes, with a fuel service or an external tank. Remote monitoring is available on many units.
