How it works

From quote to pickup

You deal with one person from the first message to the pickup. Behind that is a network of rental yards; we pick the unit that fits and the yard nearest to you.

  1. Tell us the load

    What has to run, the address, the dates. A panel photo, equipment plates or a utility bill is enough to size it.

  2. Get one price

    Rent, delivery, fuel plan, cables and damage waiver in one number. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  3. Delivery

    The unit arrives on its trailer, full of fuel, and is placed where you point. A licensed electrician connects it.

  4. Pickup

    Call or text when you are done. The rental is called off that day and the unit is collected.

Connecting it safely

A generator is connected by a licensed electrician — never through a wall outlet. On a job site the cables land in the temporary panel. At a house or a business the generator feeds the panel through a transfer switch, or an interlock and an inlet, so it can never push power back into the utility line, where it could hurt a line worker.

Fuel

The unit arrives with a full tank. On one shift a day most tanks last several days; around the clock, a day or two. For longer runs we add a fuel service or an external tank. How much diesel each size uses →

Placement

The trailer needs a level spot a pickup can back up to, a few feet clear on every side for air and service doors, and the exhaust pointed away from windows and air intakes. Never inside a garage or under an overhang.

Insurance and the damage waiver

Businesses can send a certificate of insurance; everyone else takes the damage waiver, usually 10 to 15% of the rent. Either is in the quote.
